C&K Podcast Feature Interview: Casey Wollbrinck

Introducing Casey Wollbrinck, our C&K featured interviewee. We’re excited to share her COURAGEOUS & KIND story with you!

Words like “cool” and “rad” easily describe this week’s C&K interviewee, Casey Wollbrinck. She’s a California girl who grew up in San Jose and moved to SoCal five years ago.

Casey is a graduate of UC Davis, former college athlete, surfer, community and church volunteer, and craft brewer in San Diego.

Casey talks about learning to love herself the way God loves her. She wants to love (and like!) herself for who God has created her to be — not a perfect woman, but a woman who bears the image of God.

She mentioned that once we recognize that God sees us as fearfully and wonderfully made women, it can give us a perspective that frees us from bondage and shame and focuses our eyes on Jesus.

Casey shares Philippians 3:13-14 as her inspiration behind setting her focus on the Lord instead of her past or other distractions or hangup in the present.

“Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14

She reminds us that our goal is heaven and an eternity with Jesus Christ!
